#ThirstyThursday : Cold Pressed Juice Recipe Share

I’m a sucker for a good name and “Deep Roots” caught my eye. Luckily I liked the ingredients too, and it tastes even better than the name or ingredients suggest! 


Ingredients:

Beet

Carrot

Cucumber

Apple

Lemon

If ever beets are a menu option, I’m going for it and you should too. Not a fan of the taste of beets, go for the health benefits. Beets are rich in a very unique source of phytonutrients called betalains. Both betanin and vulgaxanthin, two highly researched betalains found in beets, have powerful antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and detoxification properties.
